PACEs Day is all about the overlap between Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs), Suicide, and Overdose.
About this event
The goals of the event:
- Develop a shared language and understanding of ACEs, Suicide and Overdose
- Learn from local partners who are using collaboration for upstream prevention
- Create action plans to improve inter-organizational collaboration and “de-silo” our county’s response to ACEs, Suicide and Overdose
PACEs Day is for practitioners in St. Joseph County that work to prevent or respond to ACEs, Suicide, and/or Overdose. This could include, but is not limited to,
- Teaching/Early Childhood Education
- Community Health Workers or Peer Recovery Coaches
- Medical and Mental Health professionals
- Community organizers
- Law enforcement
- Case Management
- Social service providers
