PACEs Day is all about the overlap between Positive and Adverse Childhood Experiences (PACEs), Suicide, and Overdose.

About this event

The goals of the event:

  • Develop a shared language and understanding of ACEs, Suicide and Overdose
  • Learn from local partners who are using collaboration for upstream prevention
  • Create action plans to improve inter-organizational collaboration and “de-silo” our county’s response to ACEs, Suicide and Overdose

PACEs Day is for practitioners in St. Joseph County that work to prevent or respond to ACEs, Suicide, and/or Overdose. This could include, but is not limited to,


  • Teaching/Early Childhood Education
  • Community Health Workers or Peer Recovery Coaches
  • Medical and Mental Health professionals
  • Community organizers
  • Law enforcement
  • Case Management
  • Social service providers
